Some newer laptops have pretty high screen resolution (e.g. 1400x1050). Thus, making fonts in most application too small to read comfortably. In particular, the fonts on some websites are way too small for me. I know that you can enlarge the fonts by +, but it way too troublesome as you have to readjust the font size for each website you go to. Fortunately, there is a "minimum font size" settings in Firefox that will automatically enlarge the fonts of those websites with very small fonts. See the attached screenshot for steps on how to do that.
For IE6, you can enable the accessibility feature. But, this will enlarge the font size across the board, making websites with bigger fonts even bigger.
