We all know that computer maintenance is extremely important for a computer to run smoothly and using Disk Cleanup is a big part of this.
Disk Cleanup in Windows XP will remove such files as temporary files, the recycle bin, compressed old files, offline WebPages, and downloaded program files. You cannot simply avoid this process as leaving these junk files on your computer will eventually slow it down or even ruin your computer.
To get there you can go to my computer>right click on the drive you want to clean>choose properties>then choose disk cleanup.

If you find that disk cleanup stops working you might need to delete some files manually for it to work again.
